Overview

A hand-carved gypsum-resin flush mount from the Victorian Series — each unit individually sculpted, sanded, and finished before the Ø11 cm opal glass globe is fitted at the center. Two silhouettes: the Bouquet clusters layered petals and leaves in a loose, gathered arrangement around the globe; the Floral Crown is a single large bloom with deep radial ridges, more architectural in its symmetry. Three finishes — Ivory White, Matte Black, and Gilded Gold — are each applied by hand after carving. Because every piece is hand-finished, surface micro-texture varies slightly between units. G9 socket, 12W. All six variants are ceiling flush-mount with no pendant drop.

Highlights
  • Hand-carved gypsum-resin: Gypsum-resin composite is individually hand-carved and sanded — the surface detail in the petals, veins, and leaf edges comes from the carving process, not a mold stamp. Each unit carries the marks of the craftsperson who finished it.
  • Ø11 cm opal glass globe: A frosted opal glass ball globe (Ø11 cm) sits at the center of the carved surround — it diffuses the G9 light into a soft, even glow. The globe is a fixed element of the design and is not sold separately.
  • 3 finishes · 2 silhouettes: Ivory White, Matte Black, and Gilded Gold — each applied by hand after carving. Two silhouettes: Bouquet (X-80202) and Floral Crown (X-80201). All six combinations are available.

Installation & Care

This fixture uses a G9 bi-pin socket — a small two-pin base common in European decorative lighting, distinct from the E26 (North America) or E27 (worldwide) screw base used in most pendant lamps. G9 LED capsule bulbs (12W) are available at specialty lighting retailers and online. Confirm bulb availability in your market before ordering. G9 bulbs are not interchangeable with E26 or E27.

FAQ
What is a G9 socket, and can I find bulbs easily?

G9 is a bi-pin socket — two ceramic pins slot directly into the fitting, used widely in European decorative ceiling lights, chandeliers, and wall sconces. It is not a screw base and is not interchangeable with E26 or E27 bulbs. G9 LED capsule bulbs (12W, warm white) are available at specialty lighting retailers, home improvement stores, and widely online in North America, Europe, and Australia. Confirm local availability before ordering if you are outside Europe.

Which silhouette should I choose — Bouquet or Floral Crown?

The Bouquet (X-80202, Ø29 cm) clusters petals and leaves in a loose, gathered arrangement that reads as an organic floral still-life on the ceiling. The carving is asymmetric — different details appear on different sides. The Floral Crown (X-80201, Ø30 cm) is a single large bloom with deep radial ridges extending from the center outward — more architectural and symmetric in its silhouette. From below, the Crown reads as a cleaner, more graphic form; the Bouquet reads as more naturalistic and layered. Both are 1 cm different in diameter and 1 cm in height — functionally the same size for room planning purposes.

Which finish should I choose?

Ivory White is the most versatile — it reads almost as architectural detail on a white or pale ceiling, close to a ceiling medallion with a lamp, rather than a colored fixture. It suits French country, grandmillennial, and soft-neutral interiors. Matte Black is the most dramatic — the carved shadow lines disappear into the flat dark surface in ambient light, and the form reads as a dark sculptural relief. It suits more contemporary, eclectic, or maximalist rooms. Gilded Gold is the most decorative — the layered gilding picks up warm light variation across the carving and suits formal, Art Nouveau-adjacent, or Parisian-influenced interiors. All three finishes are applied by hand after carving, so tonal variation within the same colorway between units is possible.

My fixture has small marks on the surface — is this a defect?

No. The supplier notes explicitly: "产品为手工艺品,表面会有微瑕痕迹" — this translates as "this product is a handmade piece; the surface will have minor marks and traces." Surface micro-texture, small tool marks in the carved areas, and slight variation in the finish between units are all inherent characteristics of hand-carved, hand-finished production. They are not considered manufacturing defects. If your piece has a structural issue — a crack in the body, a globe that is chipped or broken — that is different and should be reported to us immediately.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the internal G9 LED driver specification and the G9 bulb used. Confirm the driver dimmability with the spec sheet before connecting to a wall dimmer switch. If the driver supports dimming, use a G9 LED capsule bulb rated for dimming and a compatible Triac or trailing-edge dimmer. Connecting a non-dimmable driver to a dimmer circuit may cause flickering, buzzing, or driver damage over time.

Can I get a custom color?

Yes. The supplier offers custom colorways — noted as "颜色可定制" on the product specification. Contact us at hello@yyjlxlighting.com with your project details and preferred color reference (RAL or paint chip if available) to discuss custom finish options, lead time, and minimum order requirements.

What interior styles does this suit?

The Victorian-era floral carving and globe diffuser combination works naturally in French country, grandmillennial, cottagecore, and Parisian-adjacent interiors. The Ivory White finish suits soft-neutral rooms with vintage furniture, floral wallpaper, or linen textiles. The Matte Black finish crosses into more contemporary or maximalist spaces — it reads as sculptural rather than period. The Gilded Gold suits formal dining rooms, boutique hotel-inspired bedrooms, and Art Nouveau or Baroque-influenced interiors. All three finishes work in transitional rooms that mix antique and modern elements at a smaller scale.
