What is the shade or body made of?
The fixture is built from aluminum chain strands hung from a central metal frame. The chains are lightweight and open, so light passes through them rather than being blocked.
Can this be dimmed?
Yes. Triac dimming is available as a build option when you order. Let us know during checkout if you want dimming wired in.
Can I change the cord or drop length?
Yes. The standard models come at fixed heights, but we build to your ceiling height. Tell us how tall your ceiling is and we'll cut the cables to suit your space.
Will this work on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
The standard canopy is designed for flat ceilings. We can build a custom canopy to match a sloped or vaulted pitch—just provide the angle or slope measurement before you order.
Does this run on US household power?
Yes. It runs on AC 110–240V and is hardwired by an electrician directly to your ceiling electrical box.
