Can I hang this horizontally over a dining table or does it have to go vertical?
You choose. Every variant comes in both horizontal and vertical. Horizontal (V1, V3, V7, V9, V13, V15, V17) stretches 15.4″ to 56.7″ wide and works over tables and islands. Vertical (V2, V4, V6, V8, V10, V12, V14, V16) runs 15.4″ to 56.7″ tall and suits narrower spaces where height matters.
How many bulbs does each section hold and what type do I need?
Each ribbed glass tube is one light module. A V1 or V2 is 1 module (1 bulb). A V3 or V7 is 2 modules (2 bulbs). A V9 is 3 modules (3 bulbs). V13 is 4 modules (4 bulbs). Bulb type and wattage are listed on the fixture spec sheet included with your order.
What's the exact drop length of the shortest and longest versions?
Shortest single sections (V1, V2) measure 15.4″ from ceiling to bottom of glass. Longest is V15 or V16 at 56.7″ total drop. All fixtures are 6.7″ tall (the diameter of the glass tubes themselves).
Will this fit above my kitchen island if my ceiling is 9 feet?
Yes. At 56.7″ maximum drop, you'll have plenty of headroom above the island surface. Most islands sit 36″ high, leaving about 72″ of open space. For exact clearance, measure from your ceiling to the countertop and confirm your fixture choice before ordering.
