Do the ceramic leaves break easily if bumped?
They're glazed ceramic, so they can chip or crack if hit hard. They hang on thin wires spaced across 59 to 118 inches, so bumping one leaf is possible if you reach up. Most people don't touch them after install. Replacements are available through accessories packaging.
How many leaves come with each size?
Leaf count varies by variant. V1 and V2 have fewer leaves across 59 inches. V7 and V8 have the most leaves spread across 118 inches. The fixture ships fully assembled—no leaf placement needed.
Can I use this over a kitchen island that's 4 feet wide?
The smallest option (V1 and V2) is 59 inches wide, so yes. That's 10 inches wider than your island, which gives a balanced look. If you have a smaller space, this fixture oversizes. If your island is 6 feet, pick V3 or V4 instead.
