Overview
The Belle Epoque Pleated Pendant Light by YYJLX Lighting captures the romance of vintage design with a refined, contemporary touch.
Its gracefully tiered fabric shade features delicate pleating and softly undulating edges, creating a sense of movement and lightness.
Warm illumination filters through the layered shade, casting a gentle, inviting glow. Accented with turned wooden details in a warm walnut colour, it balances the softness of the fabric with a grounded, crafted finish.
The tiers are what set it apart. Light passes through two layers of fabric where the tiers overlap and one layer elsewhere, so the shade glows in soft bands of brighter and deeper white — a layered, almost petticoat-like effect that a single-layer shade cannot give. It suits a dining room, a bedroom, or a living room with a vintage or French-inspired feel.

Same Height, Different Width
Both sizes are 14.9″ tall, so the larger size changes how much of the room it spans, not how far it hangs down. Hang the bottom 30 to 36″ above a table, and keep at least 7 ft of clear headroom in any walkway. Add the shade’s own 14.9″ to the drop.

Light
Integrated LED — 3000K as Standard
Warm white (3000K) is the standard, and it is what makes white fabric look soft and creamy rather than clinical. Neutral (4000K) and cool (6000K) are available on request — email us before ordering.
Because the LED is integrated, the colour temperature cannot be changed after purchase.

IP20, not waterproof. White pleated fabric absorbs damp and marks. Not for bathrooms, not directly above a hob, and not for covered porches or anywhere outdoors.
Installation and Care
Installation
Hardwired ceiling installation is required. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended. Support the shade from underneath while fitting, rather than gripping the pleated tiers.
Dust It Dry — Never Wet the Fabric
Dust with a soft dry brush along each pleat and under each tier, or a hairdryer on cool held at a distance. Never use water or sprays — on white fabric a wet mark leaves a permanent ring.
Dust collects on the top edge of each tier, and white fabric lit from behind shows it clearly. Include it a few times a year, and keep the lamp out of long direct sunlight, which can yellow white fabric.
