Nearly two feet across — a generous statement shade for a dining table of about 36 to 48″ wide, a living room, or a boutique. In a small hallway it will dominate.
Hang the bottom 30 to 36″ above a table, and keep at least 7 ft of clear headroom in any walkway. Add the shade’s own 13.8″ to the drop. On a chain, the drop is usually set by removing links — ask us how much chain is supplied, or tell us your ceiling height before shipping.
About the Pull Chain
This fixture is hardwired and controlled from a standard wall switch (not included). If you want to use the pull chain to switch it on and off, the wall switch needs to be left on — email us if you would like to confirm how the pull chain is wired on your fixture.
Light
Integrated LED — 3000K as Standard
The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to buy, and it runs cool enough that the fabric stays safe. Warm white (3000K) is the standard and the right partner for beige fabric and walnut. Neutral (4000K) and cool (6000K) are available on request — email us before ordering.
Because the LED is integrated, the colour temperature cannot be changed after purchase.

Dry Indoor Rooms Only
IP20, not waterproof. Pleated fabric absorbs damp and loses its shape. Not for bathrooms, not directly above a hob, and not for covered porches or anywhere outdoors.
Installation and Care
Installation
Hardwired ceiling installation is required. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended. Support the shade from underneath while fitting, rather than gripping the pleats.
Dust It Dry — Never Wet the Pleats
Dust with a soft dry brush along each pleat, or a hairdryer on cool held at a distance. Never use water or sprays — a wet mark leaves a permanent ring and can flatten the pleat.
Dust gathers in the folds on the top of the shade, and because it is lit from behind, it shows. Include it a few times a year.
Wipe the walnut with a dry cloth only, and keep the lamp out of long direct sunlight, which fades fabric unevenly.
