Size and Placement

A good width for a standard dining table for four to six, a bedroom, or a living room. Aim for about half to two thirds the width of the table, centred on it.
Hang the bottom 30 to 36″ above the table, and keep at least 7 ft of clear headroom in any walkway. Add the shade’s own 13.8″ to the cable drop.
Because the fabric hides the source completely, you can hang it a little lower than an open shade without glare.

Light
Integrated LED — 3000K as Standard
The LED is built in and fitted at the factory, so there is no bulb to buy or match. Warm white (3000K) is the standard and the natural partner for beige fabric and walnut wood. Neutral (4000K) and cool (6000K) are available on request — email us before ordering.
Because the LED is integrated, the colour temperature cannot be changed after purchase. Cool white turns beige fabric grey and flattens the floral pattern, so warm is almost always the right choice here.

IP20 — suitable for indoor use where it will not be exposed to moisture. Fabric and wood absorb damp and mark permanently. Not for bathrooms, not directly above a hob, and not for covered porches or anywhere outdoors.
Installation and Care
Installation
Hardwired ceiling installation is required. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended. Handle it by the wood and iron frame rather than the fabric.
Dust It Dry — Never Wet Fabric
Dust the fabric with a soft dry brush or a lint roller used lightly, following the waves rather than across them. Never use water or sprays — on beige fabric a wet mark leaves a permanent ring.
Dust settles in the upper folds of the wave and, because the fabric is lit from behind, it shows. Include it a few times a year.
Wipe the wood with a dry cloth only, and keep it out of long direct sunlight, which fades both the fabric and the walnut tone.
