Yellow Travertine
A Natural Stone, Not a Manufactured Finish
Yellow travertine is formed in the natural environment through complex physical and chemical changes, coupled with the evolution of geological movements. It is a masterpiece of history that belongs to nature and is not subject to human control.
In practical terms: the pores, the veining and the depth of the cream tone are different in every piece we cut. Your fixture will look like the photographs without being a copy of them — which is exactly what the wabi-sabi idea is about, and something no moulded or printed stone-look finish can give you.
Features
Real Travertine
Natural stone with open pores and cream veining — every piece unique.
White Glass Globes
An even glow across the whole sphere, with no hot spot and no visible bulb.
Two or Three Lights
Both versions hang from a single ceiling box.

⌀9.8″ × H14.6″ |
The Three-Light Is Taller, Not Wider
Both versions are ⌀9.8″ across; the extra globe adds height, not spread. So choose by how much light you want and how much vertical room you have, not by the width of the table.
Hang the bottom 30 to 36″ above a surface, and keep at least 7 ft of clear headroom in any walkway. Add the fixture’s own 12.6 to 14.6″ to the cable drop.
At under 10″ wide this is a compact fixture. It suits a bedside, an entry, a corner, a bar, or a small round table; over a full dining table hang two or three, spaced 24 to 30″ apart.
Hang it where people pass close by. Carved stone is a material that rewards being seen at arm’s length, and reads as a plain cream shape from across a room.
Contact us to confirm the cable drop and whether it can be extended for a high ceiling.
Before You Order
G9 Bulbs, Not Standard Screw-In
This fixture takes G9 bi-pin capsule bulbs, not E26 or E27 screw bulbs. They are small capsules with two pins that push in rather than screw — common in Europe, less so on North American shop shelves, though easy to order online.
Use LED, not halogen. Halogen G9 capsules run extremely hot for their size, which is hard on enclosed glass globes, on the fitting, and on the stone around them. For the Edison look, use an LED filament capsule.
Buy all the bulbs at once and identical, and keep a spare from the same batch. Across two or three globes in a line, any difference in colour temperature is immediately obvious and cannot be corrected later.
Choose 2700–3000K warm white. It is what brings the cream and amber out of travertine; cool white turns warm stone grey and kills the colour you paid for.
Dry Indoor Rooms Only
IP20, not waterproof, for indoor use only. Travertine is a porous natural stone that absorbs moisture and stains from the inside out.
Not for bathrooms, not directly above a sink or hob, and not for covered porches or anywhere outdoors.
Solid Stone Is Heavier Than It Looks
A travertine body has real weight, and the figure is not published for this fixture yet. Contact us to confirm it before your electrician prepares the ceiling — a stone fixture wants a joist or a rated box, not plasterboard alone.

Installation and Care
Installation
Hardwired ceiling installation is required. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
Handle the fixture by its metal parts rather than the stone. Travertine is hard but brittle, and chips at an edge if it knocks anything.
Never Let a Cleaning Product Touch the Stone
Dust the travertine with a dry soft cloth, and a soft brush for the open pores, where a cloth simply passes over the top.
Acidic cleaners — vinegar, lemon juice, and most multi-surface and bathroom sprays — etch travertine permanently, and the mark cannot be polished out. Over a kitchen counter, remember that airborne cooking grease soaks into porous stone: never reach for a degreaser, just dust it regularly.
The glass takes a soft cloth and plain water, dried afterwards. Clean the inside of each globe when you change a bulb — dust on the inner surface is why a white globe starts to look grey.
Switch off and let the fixture cool completely first. G9 capsules get very hot, and so does the glass around them.
