Before You Order
3W per Wing — Accent Light, Not Room Light
Each wing, and each downlight in the ceiling canopy, is 3W. That is a deliberately gentle output, and it is worth understanding before you choose.
A single wing is a soft accent — lovely over a console, a bedside, or a reception desk, but it will not light a dining table on its own. A 6-head version comes to around 18W, which reads as a beautiful lit sculpture in a room that also has other lighting.
Plan the Aviara as the piece people look at, with recessed or under-cabinet lighting doing the work. Tell us your room and we will tell you honestly how many wings it needs.
Colour Temperature Is Chosen at Purchase
The LED is integrated and sealed, which keeps every wing in a flock identical in colour for the life of the fixture — something separate bulbs never manage. It also means the colour temperature cannot be changed later.
Warm Light (3000K) is the standard option shown here. Neutral (4000K) and Cool (6000K) are available on request — contact us before ordering.
For dining rooms and entryways, 3000K is almost always the right answer. 4000K suits an office or retail space; 6000K is a commercial choice and will make a white resin wing look clinical.
Dry Indoor Rooms Only
Indoor dry locations only. Resin is affected by moisture and heat over time, and this is not a damp- or wet-rated fixture.
Not for bathrooms, not directly above a sink or hob, and not for covered porches or anywhere outdoors. Keep it out of long direct sunlight too, which yellows white resin permanently.

Round Canopy or Long Canopy
The choice is about the shape of the surface underneath, not the size of the room. A round canopy gathers the wings into a cluster and suits a round or square table; a long canopy spreads them in a line and suits a rectangular table, an island, or a counter.
Either way, a multi-head version needs only one ceiling box — the usual reason a flock of separate pendants becomes an expensive electrical job.
Multi-head versions hang the wings at staggered heights, so they are taller overall than a single pendant rather than simply wider. Measure your ceiling before choosing.
Placement
Hang the lowest wing 30 to 36″ above a table, and keep at least 7 ft of clear headroom in any walkway.
Hanging singles yourself? Space them 24 to 30″ apart, and vary the drops rather than lining them up level — a flock at one height stops looking like a flock.
The wing is a directional shape with a best face. Decide which way each bird points before the final tighten, checking from the doorway and from a seated position.
The cable is 59″ and adjustable, and can be made longer. A sloped or vaulted ceiling needs the custom canopy — ask before ordering, not after.
White or Black
Two Very Different Effects
White catches the light and stays visible after dark, so the flock reads as pale shapes floating in the room — the softer, lighter choice, and the one that disappears into a white ceiling when switched off.
Black absorbs rather than reflects, so unlit it is a graphic silhouette and lit it is a dark wing with light beneath it. Far more dramatic, and much stronger against a pale ceiling — but in a dark room, the wings themselves nearly vanish and you see only the light they cast.

Made to Your Space
We Build Custom Versions of This
Email service@yyjlxlighting.com with your space and roughly what you have in mind. Ceiling height plus a photo of the room is enough.
We can change the drop length, cable length, canopy size, light count, sloped-ceiling canopy, and dimming.
You get back a drop and cable lengths worked out for that ceiling, and the fixture arrives with the cables cut to length, wired, and ready to hang — no guesswork on the ladder, and nothing for your electrician to improvise.
This is worth doing for a staggered flock in particular, where getting the drops right is most of the effect.
Installation and Care
Installation
Hardwired ceiling installation is required. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
Dry Cloth Only — No Solvents on Resin
Dust with a soft dry cloth, or a barely damp one followed immediately by drying. Never use solvents, alcohol, or spray cleaners, which craze and cloud resin permanently.
Dust settles on the upper surface of every wing, and on a fixture you look up at from below that edge is visible. Include it a few times a year, especially on black, which shows dust far more than white.
Switch the fixture off and let it cool before cleaning.
FAQ
What is the Aviara made from?
Resin, aluminium alloy, and metal. Available in white or black finish.
How bright is it?
Each wing is 3W, so a single pendant is a soft accent rather than a source of room lighting. A six-head version totals around 18W. Plan it as a feature alongside other lighting, and contact us if you would like advice on how many wings your room needs.
Can I buy a version with several wings on one canopy?
Yes. Three-head and six-head versions are available with either a round or a long canopy, and they need only one ceiling box. Choose a round canopy for a round or square table and a long canopy for a rectangular table or a counter.
Can I dim this fixture?
The Aviara works with standard wall switches. Triac dimming is available as a build-to-order option. Contact service@yyjlxlighting.com to request it before ordering, as it cannot be added afterwards.
Can I change the bulb or the colour temperature later?
No. The LED is integrated and sealed, so the colour temperature is fixed at the time of purchase. The upside is that every wing in a group stays identical in colour for the life of the fixture.
How do I change the hanging height or cord length?
The fixture ships with a 59-inch adjustable cable that can be lengthened. Contact service@yyjlxlighting.com to specify a custom drop.
Can this hang from a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
Yes. A custom canopy is available to suit angled ceilings. Contact service@yyjlxlighting.com with your ceiling specifications.
Will this work in the US?
Yes. The Aviara operates on AC 110–240V and holds North American certification. US orders ship free to all 50 states.
