Overview

The YYJLX Lighting Aurelion Pendant embodies warmth, simplicity, and refined craftsmanship.

Featuring a softly rounded amber glass shade paired with a sculpted wooden socket and slender suspension cord, this pendant creates a perfect balance between natural texture and modern form.

The translucent golden glass diffuses light gently, producing a calm, cozy glow that enhances the atmosphere of any space.

Amber glass does something no bulb can do on its own: it warms the light itself as it passes through. Even a neutral bulb comes out golden, and the glass stays visibly warm-toned when the light is off too, so the fixture reads as a warm object in the room at any hour.

The sculpted walnut socket is the detail that lifts it. Most pendants hide the fitting behind a plain metal cap; here the timber is part of the composition, and it picks up the same amber tone as the glass.

If you have any questions about our products, please contact us and we will get back to you within 24 hours.

Features

Tinted Glass

Glass that warms the light as it passes through, and stays warm-toned unlit.

Sculpted Walnut Socket

Timber as part of the design rather than a fitting hidden behind a metal cap.

Three Models

Three shapes and two glass colours — mix them or run a matching row.

Choosing a Model

Model Size Glass Shape and use
Model A ⌀7.8″ × H12.9″ Orange / amber The tallest and narrowest — an upright form for a counter, an entry, or a stairwell
Model B ⌀9.8″ × H11.4″ Orange / amber The widest and roundest — the most generous glow, good alone over a small table
Model C ⌀7.8″ × H8.3″ White The smallest and most compact — a bedside, a nook, or a row of three

A, B and C Are Different Shapes and Different Glass

These are not three sizes of the same pendant. Each model has its own proportions, and Model C is white glass while A and B are amber, so the light it gives is cleaner and less golden.

Check the photographs for the model letter before ordering, and contact us if you are not certain which one you are looking at — we will confirm it for you.

Placement

These are small pendants, so they are at their best in a row of two or three over a counter or an island, spaced 24 to 30″ apart. A single one suits a bedside, an entry, or a reading corner.

Hang the bottom 30 to 36″ above a surface, and keep at least 7 ft of clear headroom in any walkway. Add the fixture’s own height — 8.3 to 12.9″ — to your cable drop.

Running a row? Use the same model throughout unless you deliberately want a mixed cluster, and if you do mix them, hang them at slightly different heights so it looks intentional.

Hang them where people pass close by. Tinted glass and a timber socket are details that reward being seen at arm’s length.

Before You Order

LED Bulbs Only — Timber at the Socket

The socket housing is solid timber right at the hottest part of the fixture. A hot incandescent or halogen bulb dries and darkens wood over time, and the glass traps that heat.

Fit a cool-running LED only. If you want the Edison filament look, use an LED filament bulb — the same appearance without the heat.

Tinted Glass Is Fairly Transparent — Mind the Eyeline

Amber glass tints the light but does not fully hide the bulb. Use a frosted or opal bulb rather than a clear one, or you will see a bright point through the glass from a seated position.

With a frosted bulb the whole shade glows evenly and the amber does its work properly.

Dry Indoor Rooms Only

IP20, not waterproof, for indoor use only. Not for bathrooms, not directly above a sink or hob, and not for covered porches or anywhere outdoors — timber warps and splits with humidity.

Bulbs and Light

Let the Glass Do the Warming

The base is E26 (US and Canada) or E27 (Europe, UK, Australia), a standard screw fitting, with bulbs sold separately.

With amber glass, a 2700–3000K warm white bulb gives a deep honey glow. If that is too much for you, a 4000K neutral bulb still comes out warm through the tint, which is a useful way to keep the colour without losing brightness.

Because the amber shades are atmospheric rather than bright, pair them with other lighting in a working kitchen. Model C in white glass gives noticeably more usable light.

Buying a row? Buy all the bulbs at once and identical — a mismatch shows immediately through tinted glass.

Care

Glass Damp, Timber Dry

Wipe the glass with a barely damp lint-free cloth and dry at once, or a little glass cleaner sprayed onto the cloth, never onto the fixture — nothing should run down onto the timber socket.

Tinted glass shows dust and fingerprints more than you would expect, especially where the light passes through, so it is worth wiping fairly often.

The walnut socket takes a dry cloth along the grain only. No polish, no solvents, and nothing damp — water marks bare timber permanently.

Let the bulb cool before cleaning, and handle small pendants by the socket rather than the glass.
