The Arcolo Travertine Pendant Lamp from YYJLX Lighting brings sculptural warmth to any space through its natural materials and refined form.
Crafted from solid travertine, the arched shade features soft curves and subtle pores unique to the stone, creating a naturally textured silhouette. Inside, a glowing opal bulb casts a warm, inviting light that highlights the stone’s organic character.
Solid stone rather than a stone-look finish, which is why the shade has weight to it and why the light behaves the way it does: it does not simply pass through, it sinks a little way into the stone and glows back out, with the veining showing as faint shadows inside the light.
Yellow travertine is formed in the natural environment through complex physical and chemical changes, coupled with the evolution of geological movements. It is a masterpiece of history that belongs to nature and is not subject to human control.

Before You Order
Fit an LED Bulb Only
The bulb sits inside a solid stone shade with a timber fitting above it, so the heat has nowhere to escape. An incandescent, halogen, or Edison filament bulb is worth avoiding here: sustained heat dries and darkens wood, and thermal stress is not something you want in natural stone.
Use a cool-running LED, and contact us to confirm the maximum wattage before buying.
Dry Indoor Rooms Only
IP20, for dry indoor locations. Travertine is a porous natural stone that absorbs moisture and stains, and the walnut fitting moves and cracks with humidity.
Do not install it in a bathroom, directly above a sink or hob, on a covered porch, or anywhere outdoors.
Solid Stone Is Heavier Than It Looks
This is a small shade, but solid travertine is dense, so it weighs more than a 4.7″ fixture suggests. Confirm the weight with us before installing, and fix it into a joist or a rated ceiling box rather than plasterboard alone — particularly if you are hanging a row of them.
Features
Solid Travertine
Real stone, not a printed or coated finish, with pores and veining unique to each piece.
Arched Silhouette
Soft curves carved into the stone, so the shape reads as sculpture when the light is off.
Walnut Fitting
Warm dark timber above the stone, which keeps the fixture from reading as cold or heavy.
Size and Placement
4.7″ Across — Small, So Buy Several
This is a compact pendant. One suits a bedside, a reading corner, a hallway, or the end of a counter.
Over a kitchen island or a dining table, hang three or more spaced 24 to 30″ apart. A single 4.7″ shade over an island lights a narrow strip and leaves the rest of the surface dark.
Hang the bottom 30 to 36″ above a surface, and keep at least 7 ft of clear headroom in any walkway.
Hang it where people pass close by. The pores, the veining, and the carved curve are what you are paying for, and from across a room it reads as a small beige shape.
If you buy several, the stone will differ between them. That is the material, not a fault, and a row of visibly different stones usually looks better than a matched set — but it is worth knowing before they arrive.
Bulbs
E26 or E27, Opal LED Recommended
Takes a standard E26 bulb in the US and Canada, or E27 in Europe, the UK, and Australia.
Choose an opal or frosted LED, as shown. A clear or filament bulb behind a stone shade puts a hard bright point in the opening, which fights the soft even glow the stone is there to create.
Warm white at 2700–3000K brings out the honey tones in the travertine and the walnut. Cool white turns warm stone grey and flat.
If you hang several, buy the bulbs all at once and identical — through translucent stone a mismatched colour temperature is very obvious. Contact us to confirm whether a bulb is supplied.

Care
Never Use Vinegar or Citrus on Travertine
Travertine is a calcium-based stone and acid etches it permanently. Vinegar, lemon juice, and most multi-surface and bathroom sprays leave dull marks that cannot be polished out.
Dust with a dry soft cloth only. The stone is porous, so water left on it leaves dark marks and oily fingerprints soak in — handle the fixture by the walnut or the metalwork rather than the stone.
The walnut takes a dry cloth as well. No polish, no solvents. It will mellow and darken slightly over the years, which is normal.
Stone is hard but brittle. Take care unpacking and installing it, since a knock against a worktop edge chips it permanently.
