A long crystal bar built to run the length of a dining table or island.
Most crystal fixtures are round, which means they sit as a single point in the middle of a long table and leave the ends dim. This one is linear, from 47.2″ up to 78.7″, so the light and the sparkle carry the whole way down.
Clear cut crystal throws small points of refracted light across the ceiling and walls as well as lighting the table itself. It is the reason to buy a fixture like this rather than a plain bar light.
Four lengths, in chrome or gold.
Before You Order
Dimming Is Chosen Now, Not Later
Under Kelvin range there are two versions. The standard Warm Light version does not dim. Only the Triac Warm Dimming version does.
This is built into the fixture and cannot be added afterwards. If you wire the standard version to a dimmer it will flicker, buzz, and fail early.
If you choose the dimming version, pair it with a Triac (leading-edge) dimmer. Other dimmer types will not control it smoothly.
The LED Is Built In
The light source is an integrated LED, not a replaceable bulb. There is nothing to change when it eventually dims, so treat this as a long-life fixture rather than one you re-lamp.
Contact us to confirm the wattage and expected life, and to ask about replacement LED modules before you buy.
Dry Indoor Rooms Only
IP20, for dry indoor locations. Not for bathrooms, not directly above a sink or hob, and not for covered porches or anywhere outdoors.
Features
Linear Format
Built to follow the length of a table or island rather than sit as a single point.
Cut Crystal
Clear crystal that refracts the light into moving points across the room.
Two Metals
Chrome for a cool, contemporary room; gold for a warmer, more classical one.
Choosing a Length
| Length | Full dimensions | Suits a table or island of |
|---|---|---|
| 47.2″ | L47.2″ × W7.9″ × H11.8″ | About 6 to 7 ft |
| 59″ | L59″ × W7.9″ × H12.6″ | About 7.5 to 9 ft |
| 70.9″ | L70.9″ × W7.9″ × H13.8″ | About 9 to 10.5 ft |
| 78.7″ | L78.7″ × W7.9″ × H15″ | About 10 to 12 ft |
The usual rule is that the fixture runs between half and two thirds the length of the table, centred on it. Hang the bottom 30 to 36″ above the tabletop; in a walkway, keep at least 7 ft of clear headroom underneath.
Chrome or Gold
Pick the One Your Room Already Has
Chrome and clear is the cooler, sharper option. It suits grey, white, and black rooms, glass tables, and stainless kitchens, and it lets the crystal read as pure sparkle.
Gold and clear warms everything. It works with timber, brass taps and handles, and warmer wall colours, and it makes the same crystal look softer and more traditional.
Match whichever metal already appears elsewhere in the room. Mixing a third metal into a space is what usually looks wrong.

Installation
Plan for Two People
A crystal bar of this length is awkward and heavy, and the crystals are fitted individually. Have it installed by an electrician, with a second person supporting the bar while it is fixed and levelled.
A long linear fixture shows any tilt immediately, so check it with a level along its full length before the crystals go on.
Care
Crystal Only Sparkles When It Is Clean
Dust dulls refraction faster than anything else, so this needs cleaning more often than a plain fixture. Switch it off and let it cool, then wipe the crystals with a soft dry or barely damp cloth.
Do not spray cleaner at the fixture. Liquid running into the fittings and the LED housing is how crystal fixtures fail.
Polished chrome and gold plating both mark with fingerprints, so dry them straight away and never use abrasives or metal polish.
