Is the texture on the alabaster a defect?
No. Alabaster is a natural stone. Veining, color shifts, and surface variation are normal and not defects. See the texture samples for what to expect.
How many outlets do I need and where does the cord go?
One standard wall outlet. The plug-in cord hangs straight down from the fixture. Most buyers place it 3 to 5 feet above furniture or at table height.
What bulb does it take and how bright is it?
See the product spec sheet for bulb type and wattage. The alabaster diffuses light softly—it's ambient accent lighting, not task lighting for reading or cooking.
Can I stack just 2 blocks on a wall or do I have to buy the full 4-block version?
Each variant is sold as-is. You pick the height when you order: 1 block (V1–V4), 2 blocks (V5–V8), 3 blocks (V9–V12), or 4 blocks (V13–V16). You don't mix and match.
