Plan your wall junction box to line up with the center before installation, since moving a J-box afterwards means opening the wall.

About the Visible Screws
Solid alabaster is heavy, so color-matched structural screws secure the stone housing to the metal frame inside.
They sit only on the flat top and bottom end-caps, out of sight once the sconce is mounted vertically at eye level.
