Overview
A shallow wooden dome on a gold stem.
The wood is solid rather than veneer-printed, so the grain runs differently on every piece and warms visibly once the light is on.
Because the shade is opaque, it sends a clean pool of light straight down. That is what you want over a reading chair or a dining table, and it keeps the rest of the room calm.

Before You Order
Fit an LED Bulb
Wood sits close to the lamp inside a shallow shade. Do not fit an incandescent or halogen bulb, which will darken and dry the timber over time.
Use a cool-running LED, and contact us to confirm the maximum wattage before buying bulbs. Bulbs are not included.
Dry Indoor Rooms Only
IP20 means no moisture protection at all. Not for bathrooms, covered porches, or anywhere outdoors, and humidity will lift the finish on the wood.
Choosing a Bulb
Base and Colour
The socket takes an E26 bulb in the US and Canada, or an E27 bulb in Europe, the UK, and Australia.
A warm white LED at 2700–3000K keeps the timber looking warm. Cooler light flattens the grain and makes natural wood look grey. Because the shade is shallow, a frosted bulb avoids glare from a seated position.

Looking After the Wood
Dust with a dry soft cloth. Avoid water and household cleaners, which mark and dull a timber finish.
Grain and tone vary between pieces, and natural wood deepens slightly with age. Keep it out of direct sunlight, which bleaches pale timber unevenly.
