Overview
A pendant that quiets the room while it lights it.
The cone shade is made from porous PET acoustic felt, the same material used in office sound panels. It absorbs sound rather than bouncing it back, which takes the edge off echo in rooms with hard floors, glass, and bare walls.
The 15W LED is built in, casting an even pool of light straight down.
Three sizes and seven felt colours, with custom colours and sizes made to order.

Not Dimmable, and Hardwired
The integrated LED runs at a fixed brightness. Do not wire it to a dimmer switch.

How Much Noise It Absorbs

One pendant softens the sound in its immediate area. It is not soundproofing, and it will not quiet a whole room on its own.
The effect is strongest in hard-surfaced spaces with tile or timber floors, glass, and bare walls. In a large or echoey room, hang several in a row or pair them with rugs and soft furnishings.
Over a dining table or a desk, where people talk face to face, one is usually enough to take the harshness off.

Over a table, aim for half to two thirds of the table width, hung 30–36″ above the surface. Hanging it lower puts the felt closer to the people talking, which is where it works best.

Dust it with a dry soft brush or a low-suction vacuum. Keep it dry, since felt holds moisture and will mark if it gets wet.
