Microcement Pendant Lamp

Microcement Pendant Lamp — raw texture, four silhouettes, gold fitting. Microcement formed around a mould, air-dried, and demoulded — the surface left deliberately rough: pores, tool marks, faint ridges at the edges where the mould released.

A gold brass E14 fitting connects the shade to a braided cord above. The result is a lamp that reads as archaeological, as though it predates the building it hangs in — raw material, warm light, complete restraint.

Available in four distinct silhouettes: a wide fluted dome, a wide flat disc, a slim tall cylinder, and a compact bowl. During drying, natural pores form throughout the surface. Where the mould releases, faint edge marks may remain.

These characteristics — the grain, the pores, the slight irregularity at the rim — are deliberate expressions of the material’s nature. They are what give each shade its raw, hand-crafted presence.

A warm-white E14 LED at 2700–3000 K is recommended — the warm amber tone complements the raw cement grey and the gold brass fitting, producing a soft pool of light that enhances the shadow texture of the cement surface.

A 4–6W E14 LED is appropriate for the compact scale of all four models. An E14 Edison filament candle or globe bulb works particularly well in Model C (slim cylinder) where the exposed bulb is partially visible at the open base.
