Cross-weave is a tight horizontal-vertical rattan grid in natural tan — it casts a fine lattice shadow on the ceiling when lit. Round-hole weave uses circular apertures instead of a tight grid, projecting scattered dot patterns on the ceiling — a more decorative light effect. Black weave uses the same cross-grid structure in a dark tone; the contrast between the dark body and warm light passing through is sharper, which works better in rooms with cool or neutral palettes where the natural tan might blend in rather than stand out.
