The cognac brown straps are PU leather-look — not genuine leather. We chose this approach to keep Halia at an accessible price compared to genuine-leather pendants, while still delivering the warm tonal contrast against the alabaster. PU leather-look is also more stable than genuine leather over years of suspension — it holds shape, doesn't darken or crack with humidity changes, and requires no conditioning. The alabaster itself is solid natural stone.
