Overview

Each shade is one piece of natural alabaster with a brass cap. Turn it on and the stone itself glows — you can see the veining right through the wall of the column, and no two read the same. This is the fixture in most of the big spiral-stair installs on our site.

Stone as the diffuser: The LED sits inside the column, so the alabaster wall itself softens the light. Warm 3000K through actual stone.
Runs up to 13 ft tall: Six stock sizes from a single column to 15 columns at H 157″ — sized for two-story voids and open stairwells.
Dimmable, two ways: Works with common wall dimmers as standard; a Triac version is available for smoother low-end dimming.

What is the shade made of?

Can it be dimmed?

Yes. It works with common wall dimmers as standard, and a Triac version is available built to order for smoother dimming at the low end.

Can I change the cord or drop length?

Yes. The cable is custom-cut to your stairwell and brass-wrapped. Give us your ceiling height and a photo of your space, and we'll send you a drop plan before we build.

Will it work on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?

The standard canopy suits a flat ceiling. We build custom canopies for angled or vaulted installations—just let us know your ceiling pitch before ordering.

Does it run on US household power?

Yes. It's hardwired to your ceiling box for AC 110–240V, so an electrician wires it directly to your existing electrical box.

Is it approved for US use and do you ship here?

Yes to both. We ship free to all 50 states. The fixture is certified for North America.
