Adjust the Drop to Your Ceiling
59″ is the maximum hanging length. On an 8 ft (96″) ceiling, hung at full length the lamp would sit only about 37″ above the floor — fine over a table, but shorten the cord anywhere people walk underneath, keeping at least 7 ft of clear headroom. Over a table or island, hang it 30 to 36″ above the surface.
