How to Work Out the Hanging Height

Measure from your ceiling down to the tabletop, subtract the pendant height, and leave 30 to 36″ of clear headroom above a dining surface.

Cables can be shortened at installation, so order the drop that is longer than you need rather than shorter.

Check the Drop Against Your Ceiling

On an 8 ft (96″) ceiling, a 59.1″ drop leaves only about 37″ underneath — fine over a table or island, too low for a walkway, where you need at least 7 ft of clear headroom. The 78.7″ versions are meant for double-height spaces only; shorten the cables to suit your room.

G9 LED

G9 is a small two-pin bulb that pushes straight in. Use G9 LED bulbs (about 3–5W each, warm white 2700–3000K); they run far cooler than halogen inside the glass. Screw-in Edison bulbs will not fit.

About the Stone

Pits and Variation Are the Material

Travertine forms with natural holes and banding, so each sphere shows its own pitting and color.

Those marks are characteristic of real stone rather than flaws, and your pendant will differ from the photos.

Installation and Care

Stone and Glass Are Heavy

Hardwired ceiling installation — a licensed electrician is recommended. The 7- to 11-light versions carry a lot of stone and glass; make sure the ceiling box is rated for the weight and fixed to a joist or brace.

Care

Switch off and let the bulbs cool. Dust the stone with a soft, dry cloth and avoid acidic cleaners, which can etch travertine. Wipe the glass with a soft cloth.
