What exactly is the travertine finish and will it look the same on every pendant?
Travertine is natural stone. Each sphere shows real pits, holes, and variation in color as noted in the product photos. No two pieces are identical. This is the normal phenomenon of the material.
How much drop do I need for these pendants to hang safely over a table?
Single pendants (V1) are 7.8 inches tall. All multi-light versions hang at 59.1 inches (except V7 and V8 at 78.7 inches). Measure from your ceiling to tabletop, subtract the pendant height, and allow 30-36 inches for comfortable headroom over a dining surface.
Can I mix V1 single pendants with a larger multi-light canopy?
No. V1 is a standalone fixture with its own cord. The canopy versions (V2 through V8) are complete as sold. You cannot combine them.
Does the white glass diffuser hide the bulb completely?
The frosted white globe diffuses the light so you don't see a harsh filament, but the bulb itself is enclosed inside. The travertine cap sits on top of the glass and covers the socket.
