All Three Sizes Take Three Bulbs
Worth knowing, because it means the small one is not a dimmer version of the large one. Choosing a size changes how much of the table the light covers, not how bright the fixture is — and with three sockets even the S is genuinely bright for its width.
Placement
Over a dining table, choose a shade roughly half to two thirds the width of the table, and centre it on the table rather than on the room.
Hang the bottom 30 to 36″ above the surface, and keep at least 7 ft of clear headroom in any walkway.
All three are shallow for their width, so most of your drop is cable and they sit easily under a standard 8 ft ceiling.
Because the fabric hides the bulbs completely, this is one you can hang lower than usual over a table without anyone catching a glare — which is how you get the intimate, contained pool of light this shape does best.

Each pendant has three standard screw sockets. A warm-white bulb at 2700–3000K is strongly recommended — the warm tone diffuses beautifully through the natural fabric and creates a rich, honeyed ambient glow. Cool white turns cream fabric grey and flat.
Buy all three bulbs at once and identical, and keep a spare from the same batch. Across three sockets behind one fabric shade, a difference in colour temperature shows as an uneven patch and cannot be corrected later.
The upside of standard screw sockets: this fixture can be re-lamped for as long as you own it, and you choose the brightness and the warmth rather than living with a sealed LED.
Use LED Bulbs — Fabric Around Three Sockets
Natural fabric sits directly around the bulbs, and there are three of them in an enclosed shade. Heat builds up in a way it does not in a single-bulb fixture, and a hot incandescent or halogen bulb scorches, yellows and stiffens fabric over time.
Fit cool-running LEDs. For the warm filament Edison look the shade suits so well, use LED filament bulbs — identical appearance, without the heat. Three matching warm LED filament bulbs produce the most atmospheric result.
Keep to a low wattage per socket. Three modest LEDs will be plenty of light through this shade.

Installation and Care
Installation
Hardwired ceiling installation is required. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
Handle the fixture by its metal frame and fitting rather than the fabric, and support a wide shade from underneath rather than gripping the petal edges, which hold their shape by being stretched.
Dust It Dry — Never Wet Fabric
Dust with a soft dry brush or a lint roller used lightly, working along each petal rather than across the seams.
Never use water, spray cleaners, or any solvent. On pale natural fabric a wet cloth leaves a permanent ring, and the mark is more visible than the dust ever was.
Dust settles on the upper curve of every petal and greys a cream shade quietly over months — and because the fabric is lit from behind, it shows. Include it a few times a year.
Fabric holds cooking smells and airborne grease, so it is not the fixture for directly over a hob. Keep it out of long direct sunlight, which fades cream and tan at different rates and will make the two-tone panelling uneven.
Let the bulbs cool before going near the shade.
