The Aveline Stitched Fabric Pendant Light pairs a softly structured cream fabric shade with hand-finished contrasting edge stitching and warm brass-toned hardware.
Its broad central band and gently tapered upper and lower sections create a refined geometric silhouette without feeling visually heavy.
The stitching is the detail that separates this from an ordinary drum shade. A contrasting thread wrapped along both edges draws a fine line around the whole silhouette, so the shape stays crisp instead of blurring into a pale cylinder, and the fixture still has something to look at when it is switched off.

Before You Order
The Bulb Is Included, and It Is the Right One
One E27 3000K warm-white LED bulb comes with the fixture, so it works the day it is installed — and 3000K is exactly the temperature that makes cream fabric look warm rather than grey.
It is a replaceable bulb, not a sealed LED, so the fixture can be re-lamped for as long as you own it. Keep to LED replacements: a hot incandescent or halogen bulb scorches and yellows fabric from the inside.
Dimming is possible with a compatible dimmable E27 bulb and wall dimmer. Check that both say dimmable, or you will get flicker or buzz.
E27 Base — US and Canadian Buyers
E27 is the standard screw base in Europe, the UK and Australia. The North American standard is E26, and the two are very close but not identical.
Since a bulb is included you can install it straight away, but contact us before ordering a replacement and we will confirm the right base for your country.
Dry Indoor Rooms Only
Indoor dry locations only. The fabric shade should be kept away from rain, steam, high humidity, and wet areas — fabric water-marks permanently, absorbs moisture, and grows mould in damp air.
Not for bathrooms, not directly above a sink or hob, and not for covered porches or anywhere outdoors.

Placement
Over a dining table, choose a shade roughly half to two thirds the width of the table, and centre it on the table rather than on the room.
Hang the bottom 30 to 36″ above a surface, and keep at least 7 ft of clear headroom in any walkway. The cord is adjustable up to 47.2″ / 120 cm, set during installation.
All three are shallow for their width, so most of your drop is cord — they sit comfortably under a standard 8 ft ceiling.
The fixture suits flat ceilings. On a sloped ceiling it depends on your junction box and installation method, so check with your electrician first.
One covers roughly 86–194 sq ft (8–18 m²) depending on size. Over a long island, hang two spaced 24 to 30″ apart rather than stretching one.
What the Light Is Like
Comfortable Rather Than Bright
Woven fabric absorbs a good deal of light, so this gives a soft, warm, low-glare glow with the useful light going down through the open bottom. Ideal over a dining table, in a bedroom, or in a lounge; in a working kitchen, pair it with under-cabinet or recessed lighting.
If you replace the bulb, choose a frosted or opal one. The shade is open underneath, so a clear or filament bulb is visible and glaring from a seated position.

Installation and Care
Installation
Hardwired ceiling installation is required. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
Brush the Fabric, Never Wet It
Dust the shade with a soft brush, a lint roller, or a low-suction vacuum brush. Never use water, damp cloths, or cleaning products — fabric water-marks permanently and cream fabric cannot be cleaned back.
Be gentle around the stitched edges, where a cloth can snag the wrapped thread. A soft brush is safer than anything with a nap.
Dust settles on the upper taper where nobody looks, and on pale fabric it greys the shade from above. Include it a few times a year.
Wipe the brass-toned hardware with a dry cloth only, and keep metal polish off the fabric entirely. Let the bulb cool before going near the shade.
