Overview
Moulded orange glass in a polished chrome frame.
Coloured glass does something plain glass cannot: it tints the light itself. Switched on, this throws a warm amber cast onto the surfaces around it, so it changes the mood of a corner rather than simply lighting it.
Chrome is a deliberate counterweight. Against warm orange it reads cool and sharp, which keeps the whole thing modern instead of retro.

Before You Order
This Is an Accent Light, Not a Room Light
At 7.9″ across and a 15W maximum, one of these will not light a room. It is sized to hang over a bedside, a side table, a stairwell corner, or in a row above a kitchen island.
If you want it over a counter or a table, order two or three and space them 24 to 30″ apart. A single one will leave the rest of the surface dark.
Check the Bulb Base Before You Buy Bulbs
This takes an E14 small screw base, which is the European size. Buyers in the US and Canada: the equivalent local size is E12 candelabra, and the two are not interchangeable.

It Does Not Dim
This fixture is not dimmable. Wiring it to a dimmer switch will cause flicker and buzzing and can shorten its life. Put it on a normal switch.
Dry Indoor Rooms Only
IP20, for dry indoor locations. Not for bathrooms, not directly above a sink or hob, and not for covered porches or anywhere outdoors.

Heavier Than It Looks
Solid moulded glass makes this 8.8 lbs (4 kg) despite its small size. The ceiling box must be rated for the load and anchored into structure, not plasterboard alone.
Over a counter or table, hang the bottom 30 to 36″ above the surface. In a walkway, keep at least 7 ft of clear headroom underneath.
Bulbs
Use a Clear Bulb
Bulbs are not included, and the 15W maximum is easily met by any LED.
A clear bulb is the right choice here, because it lets the glass colour show at full strength. A frosted bulb mutes the orange and loses much of the effect.
Warm white at 2700–3000K deepens the amber. Cool white fights the orange and makes it look muddy.

Care
Chrome Shows Everything
Polished chrome marks easily with fingerprints and water spots. Wipe it with a barely damp cloth and dry it immediately, and skip abrasive cleaners, which leave fine scratches that never come out.
Clean the glass with a soft cloth once the bulb is off and cool. Let the fixture cool fully before touching it.
