Overview
A real stone pendant that plugs into the wall.
No hardwiring, no electrician, no junction box. The dome hangs from a ceiling hook on a long cord that swags across to a socket, with an on/off switch on the cord itself.
That matters because carved alabaster is normally out of reach for anyone renting, or for any corner of a room that has no ceiling point. Here you need a hook and an outlet.
Two dome sizes, in brass and white, with a US, UK, EU, or AU plug.
Before You Order
The Hook Has to Be Properly Fixed
This is solid stone, not a paper or glass shade. The large dome weighs 10.6 lbs (4.8 kg) and the small one 8.2 lbs (3.7 kg).
A hook pushed into plasterboard will pull out. Fix into a joist, or use a heavy-duty anchor rated well above the weight of the dome. If you are renting, a joist-mounted hook still leaves only a single small hole to fill.
Plan Where the Cord Runs
The cord is 177.2″ (450 cm), which is generous, but it has to travel from the hook across the ceiling and down the wall to an outlet. Measure that whole path, not just the drop.
A trailing cord across a walkway is a trip hazard, so consider cord clips along the ceiling line.
Dry Indoor Rooms Only
Alabaster is porous and water marks it permanently. Not for bathrooms, covered porches, or anywhere outdoors.

The dome is shallow, only 3 to 4″ deep, so it reads as a wide disc of light rather than a bulky shade. Over a table, aim for the bottom of the dome 30 to 36″ above the surface.

The socket takes a standard E26 bulb in the US and Canada, or E27 in Europe, the UK, and Australia, so replacements are easy to find anywhere.
A warm white LED at 2700–3000K brings out the mineral depth of the stone. Use an LED rather than an incandescent or halogen bulb, and contact us to confirm the maximum wattage.

About the Stone
Every Dome Is Different
Veining and tone vary from piece to piece, so your pendant will not match the photographs exactly. That variation is the character of genuine carved stone rather than a defect.
Alabaster is soft and porous. Dust with a dry soft cloth only, and keep water, soap, and household cleaners away from it, as they soak in and stain permanently.
