Overview
A drum shade wound in natural jute rope, with a garland of wood beads draped across the front.
The rope gives the shade a warm, tactile surface that reads as handmade rather than manufactured, and the light picks up the texture of every coil.
Three diameters, from 15.7″ to 23.6″.
A warm white LED bulb is included, so it works the day it arrives.
Features
Hand-Wound Rope
Natural jute coiled around the whole drum, warm in tone and rich in texture.
Wood Bead Garland
A strand of natural beads draped across the front as a handcrafted accent.
Bulb Included
Ships with a warm white 3000K LED, so nothing else to buy.
Sizes
| Diameter | Height | Room Size |
|---|---|---|
| ⌀15.7″ (40 cm) | H7.5″ (19 cm) | Around 110–160 sq ft, such as a bedroom or entryway |
| ⌀19.7″ (50 cm) | H9.4″ (24 cm) | Around 160–215 sq ft, such as a dining room |
| ⌀23.6″ (60 cm) | H11.4″ (29 cm) | Around 215–270 sq ft, such as a living room |
Over a dining table, a round shade looks right at roughly half the table width, hung 30–36″ above the tabletop. The 47″ cord adjusts at installation.
How It Lights a Room
Warm and Textured
Rope is dense, so most of the light falls downward in a soft pool while the coils themselves glow warmly at the edges.
It sets a mood beautifully over a table or in an entryway. For a room you need brightly lit all over, pair it with lamps or downlights.
Before You Order
Keep It Dry and Out of Direct Sun
This is an indoor fixture for dry rooms only. Do not hang it in a bathroom, a covered porch, or anywhere outdoors.
Natural jute fades in direct sunlight and loosens in humidity, so avoid a spot right beside a sunny window.

About the Rope
Every Shade Is Slightly Different
Jute is a natural fibre, so colour, thickness, and the way the coils sit vary a little from piece to piece.
Dust with a dry soft brush or a low-suction vacuum held at a distance. Do not use water or cleaning products on the rope.
